Dr. Khaled Hamid Chowdhury, a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn with 30 years standing is a Senior Advocate of the Appellate Division, Supreme Court, Bangladesh and the Head of Chambers at Dr. Khaled H Chowdhury & Associates (Dispute Management Specialists), a leading set in Bangladesh. Apart from individual legal practice on civil and criminal matters he is also serving as a legal adviser to Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Bridges Division, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), Dhaka South City Corporation, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and also a Board Member of NESCO. He has been a legal advisor of Rotary International, Parimatch, Innovative Sports and Gaming Technologies, Zamuna Bank Limited, Trust Bank Limited, One Bank Limited, Pubali Bank Limited, Bank Asia Limited, The City Bank Limited, The Padma Bank Limited, Grameenphone Limited, Gaan Bangla Television, University Grant Commission (UGC), Rangpur Riders Cricket Team (Bangladesh Premier League), Shakib Al Hassan and various other companies for a number of years.

Other than civil, criminal, corporate and commercial matters he also specialises in Intellectual Property Law (Copyright, Trademark and Patent), Sports Law, Entertainment Law, Admiralty (Maritime) Law, Family Law and Labor (Employment) Law. He currently advises Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA) and Music Composer’s Society of Bangladesh (MCSB) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Accredited Mediator of CEDR and SIMI and Accredited Mediator and Associate Arbitrator of ADR-ODR International. Apart from that he is a Fellow of AIAC and AIADR, Malaysia, and an Empanelled Mediator at Brunei Darussalam Arbitration Centre (BDAC) and Arbitrator at Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) and Nepal International Arbitration Center (NIAC). He has also successfully completed KLRCA Certificate Programme in Sports Arbitration (Malaysia). He has also completed eBRAM Certified Online Dispute Resolution Training Course (Pilot Scheme on Sports Dispute Resolution Special) which has been accredited by The Law Society of Hong Kong, underscoring its high professional standards and global recognition. Additionally he is a Specialist in International Sports Law and has more than 12 years of work experience as an Adjudicator and amongst others dealt with matters in the Anti-Corruption Tribunal adjudicating the affairs of allegation corruption in cricket. He represented the former Bangladesh National Cricket Team Captain Mohammad Ashraful and English Cricketer Darren Stephens in the BPL match-fixing dispute. Dr. Chowdhury served as a member of the Independent Inquiry Committee formed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in February 2025 to investigate alleged corruption and match-fixing in the 2024–25 BPL season. He is currently the Vice-President of the Barristers’ Association of Bangladesh (BAB), also holds the same position in Udayan Alumni Association (UAA) and an Executive Committee Member of Gulshan Youth Club (GYC).

Dr. Chowdhury excels in Academia, he is the Owner, CEO and Head of Laws of London College of Legal Studies South (LCLS (South)), a leading institute in Dhaka promoting English legal education in Bangladesh. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Eastern University, the East West University, Guest Faculty, at the Institution of Business Administration (IBA) of University of Dhaka and was also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Liberal Arts (ULAB). He is a member of ADR ODR International’s Global Faculty. As a Master Trainer, he taught and trained ADR to students in the United Kingdom, India, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. He acted as a Faculty Member, LETI (Legal Education Training Institute), Bangladesh Bar Council- assisted in the course conducted by Australian QCs. He was an Adjunct Faculty teaching Contract Law at the MBA programme Royal Roads University, Canada, Dhaka Campus, PML and also taught Law and Management as a Guest Faculty in Victoria University Melbourne, Dhaka Campus.

Dr. Chowdhury has completed his LLB from Dhaka University and went on to study MA in Legal Studies at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. After that he was called to the Bar of England &Wales (Barrister-at-Law) by the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London. Thereafter, he secured an LLM with Merit in International Business Law from King’s College London. He also secured another LLM in Sports Law and Practice with Merit from De Montfort University, UK. In 2019, he had been conferred an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of the West of England (UWE, Bristol, UK) for his contribution in the legal education in Bangladesh.
