OMAR FARUQ

Mr. Omar Faruq is currently employed as a Legal Associate at the Chambers. He had completed his LLB (Hon’s) from University of Derby, England and Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is also an enrolled Advocate of the District and Sessions Judge Court, Dhaka. He had past experience of working in two different sets of law chambers before joining Dr. Khaled H. Chowdhury and Associates.

Mr. Omar is very skilled in his legal field of work and at the Chambers he is responsible for conducting Legal Research, Drafting Petitions, Legal Notice, Legal Opinions, Affidavit-in-opposition, Affidavit-in-Compliance, Case Overview, Drafting and Vetting various Legal Documents, Agreements, Company Constitutions and so on. He has vast knowledge and expertise in Arbitration Matters.

During his student life, he was a member of Bangladesh Scouts and participated in several extracurricular activities, for which he has won numerous prizes as well.

Mr. Omar is a credible, trustworthy, hardworking individual yet very enthusiastic about his work. He is also engaged in various social activities especially very much vocal about Animal Rights, active in various groups and works for animal rights and protection.
