TM Shadman has been employed as a Legal Associate at the chambers of Dr. Khaled H. Chowdhury and Associates since 2019. His principal responsibilities encompass a range of daily legal activities, including but not limited to the drafting of various legal documents, including petitions, comprehensive legal opinions, legal notices and appropriate formal replies. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in formulating responses to legal inquiries and conducting meticulous reviews of diverse legal documents, such as company constitutions, agreements, and deeds. His engagement also includes participation in client meetings, where he contributes valuable insights while assisting the Head of Chambers and senior legal practitioners within the firm.
TM Shadman completed his LL.B. (Hon’s) at the esteemed BPP University in the United Kingdom and subsequently earned his LL.M. with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law from Nottingham Trent University, where he refined his expertise in a critical area of law that intersects with contemporary business practices. Throughout his academic tenure, TM Shadman displayed a proactive commitment to practical legal training by participating in several legal internships and mini-pupillages across various law chambers. These experiences have provided him with a robust foundation in legal principles and practices.
In addition to his current role, TM Shadman has had the privilege of working at the internationally recognised and award-winning law firm “NLS Legal,” based in the United Kingdom. During his tenure at this firm, he collaborated with prominent international corporations and renowned brands, advising them on matters pertaining to International Intellectual Property Laws and navigating the intricate processes associated with obtaining trademarks and patents. This role further solidified his expertise and understanding of the complex legal landscape surrounding intellectual property.
Moreover, TM Shadman has actively pursued professional development by attending numerous specialised training sessions and workshops. These programs have addressed a variety of topics, including Negotiation, Mediation, Human Rights, and Cyber Security, reflecting his commitment to remaining abreast of evolving legal practices and issues. He has received accreditation as a Civil and Commercial Mediator from ADR-ODR International in the United Kingdom, further enhancing his qualifications in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
